Pumas FC

Hills Pumas

The club was formed in 1999 as a result of year 9 students of Pacific Hills Christian School requesting to play football regularly with each other. This then led to a survey of the students for possible players and for expressions of interest. An over-whelming response resulted in a committee of teachers and parents being formed to establish this club.

The club’s mission statement is: “To provide an organised and safe environment for team sports, fellowship, Christian development and growth for the students, parents and friends of Pacific Hills Christian School.” Teams from Under 6 to Over 35’s compete in the local community Hills Football (HFI) competition. All junior games are played every Saturday morning between April and August.

As the club grew and succeeded, we realised that a permanent full sized home ground would be required. As a result, the Pumas have moved to Les Shore Oval in Glenorie, allowing us to grow to accept a wider community of players and families to the club from all over the district. Our mission statement as a club has not changed, and while our spiritual home and roots will always be at Pacific Hills, and many of our teams will continue to play there, due to its location in the community the club will to continue to grow and become stronger, while providing a local home of football for the people of Glenorie.

We look forward to you joining one of our clubs teams and enjoying the social and physical aspects that the game of soccer can bring to players, parents and spectators.
